Quartz fiber is made from heating high purity quartz rods with an oxyhydrogen flame. Then, filaments are drawn out of the quartz rod, creating homogeneous, non-porous, continuous, amorphous, ultra pure quartz fibers.
Ultra pure, SiO2 content not less than 99.95%.
High-temperature resistant.
Ablation resistance.
Low thermal conductivity.
Anti-heating vibration.
Low dielectric property.
Excellent chemical stability.

Quartz fiber twistless roving is assemblies of fused quartz continuous filaments combined into strands/ends, then assembled without intentional twist.
Weaving fabric (woven or stitched), Filament winding, Pultrusion, Unidirectional prepregging, texturizing.

Quartz fiber yarn is assemblies of continuous high purity (SiO2 content ≥99.95%) quartz filaments (filament diameter 7-9um) gathered into strands(forming packaged), then processed with varying levels of twist and ply. Quartz fiber yarn had many superb properties: high purity, high temperature resistance, ablation resistance, low heat-conduction, anti-thermal shocks, excellent dielectrical property and chemical stability.

Hollow quartz fiber yarn is same as quartz fiber yarn except its hollow filaments. With the hollow filaments, quartz fiber yarn gains much better properties in lower density, higher electrical conductivity, better wave permeability, more dielectrical property and heat insulation.
