An aramid market analysis report released in October 2025 showed that aramid prices presented a differentiated trend of "high-end rising and mid-to-low-end falling": the price of conventional industrial-grade meta-aramid products was about 35-40 yuan/kg, a decrease of 10% compared with 2024, affected by overcapacity in the optical cable and industrial filtration fields; while the price of military-grade para-aramid exceeded 100 yuan/kg. Due to the large gap in domestic substitution and the surging demand in military and aerospace fields, the price is expected to rise by 5%-10% from 2025 to 2026. New energy vehicles have become the core growth driver. Aramid-coated separators, which are compatible with 800V high-voltage batteries, are expected to have a market size of 4.4 billion yuan in 2025 with a demand growth rate of over 35%. Mass production by enterprises such as Taihe New Materials and Jinli Co., Ltd. will ease the supply shortage of high-end products.
