Recently, information from the State Intellectual Property Office showed that Jiangsu Rover New Materials Co., Ltd. applied for a patent entitled "A high-strength, corrosion-resistant aramid composite material and its preparation process", publication number CN120504913A, and application date June 2025.
The patent abstract shows that the present invention discloses a high-strength, corrosion-resistant aramid composite material and its preparation process, which relates to the technical field of aramid composite materials and includes the following components by mass: 60-80 parts of EPDM rubber, 20-40 parts of hydrogenated nitrile rubber, 10-15 parts of polytetrafluoroethylene, 18-30 parts of filler, 10-15 parts of aramid fiber, 5-8 parts of plasticizer, and 3-6 parts of vulcanizing agent. The present invention obtains a composite material with good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance by compounding EPDM rubber, hydrogenated nitrile rubber and polytetrafluoroethylene, and adding aramid fiber and filler. The present invention also improves the compatibility between the materials by modifying the EPDM rubber and aramid fiber, further improving the overall performance of the composite material.
